Joe Walsh brought his Analog Man tour to The Riverside Golf Resort and Casino’s outside venue in Riverside, Iowa July 14, 2012. Joe’s band consisted of two drummers, a percussionist (referred to as Dave), a bass player, an organist,  a rhythm guitarist and three background singers. Joe and company began the show with a mid-tempo “Welcome to the Club,” followed by “Life of Illusion.” Joe then asked if anyone heard of the song “Analog Man,” that promptly received a roaring applause. Joe knocked out the title track of his new record,  with a renewed sense of personal satisfaction. “The Bomber” from James Gang Rides Again, released in 1970 was the highlight of the setlist. Joe addressed the young people in the audience by stating that if they knew the song they must have heard it from their parents, which he apologized for by saying “It is my fault.” The show closed  with “Life’s Been Good,” followed by “life in The Fast Lane.” A crowd chant of “Joe, Joe Joe,” prompted the encore, ” ILBT’S” and “All Night Long.” Joe Walsh has embraced sobriety and re-established himself as a solo artist once again.
