Frendly Gathering 2017: Sugarbush, VT

One of the most highly-anticipated festivals of the summer in Vermont for so many music lovers & ‘Frends’, was an incredible success. Through the adversity of moving to a new mountain location after six consecutive years at ‘Magic Mountain’ on Timber Ridge, in Southern, VT – as well as weathering the Vermont summer rains – Frendly Gathering 2017 was an amazing time, with an incredible line-up and copious amounts of dancing in the mud.

The new location on Sugarbush Mountain was breathtaking, offering expansive views of the surrounding mountains, amazing camping options and the beautiful vibe that the natural beauty of Vermont is known for. The consistent downpours didn’t stop the Frendly crowds from enjoying the weekend to its fullest, and when the sun graced the mountain spirits were lifted even higher. The offerings for the weekend were diverse, including yoga, a variety of games and art workshops, amazing food, sound healing’s offered by EvolveLove Sound, and open mics hosted by Martin Guitars.

From Twiddle’s 3 satisfying and diverse shows, to Charles Bradley & His Extraodinaires bringing onlookers to tears with his emotionally invigorating performance – as well as the intensely high-energy experience that Moon Hooch’s continues to bring to Frendly – the music throughout the weekend was nothing short of electric. As all dedicated Frendly lovers know, the countdown to next year begins!
