The “Girls Night Out, Boys Can Come Too” tour hit Gilford, New Hampshire last week, with co-headlining artists Colbie Caillat and Christina Perri, and opener Rachel Platten. This venue is located right off of the beautiful shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, which boasts beautiful views as you drive up along Route 11. Rachel Platten kicked off the show with her fun and uplifting pop songs. This Massachusetts native is currently recognized by her empowering song “Fight Song”. Her music has been religiously played on the radio and iTunes, and she has inspired a large group of followers to express self-affirmation. Her message is clear and robust, influencing her fans all around.
Colbie Caillat, a two-time Grammy winner, who has sold over 60 million albums worldwide, as well as 10 million singles, continued after Rachel. Her soulful songs included some of her most popular hits such as “Bubbly”, “I Do”, and “Brighter than the Sun”. Christina Perri ended the night, with songs that echoed through the venue, such as “Distance”, “Human”, and “Be My Forever”.
